I can’t tell you how many Facebook and Twitter statuses I’ve seen about folks being just plain…weary. I get it.
We’re weary — not just from a global pandemic, but even in the before-covid era, the holidays can mean a ton of work (especially for parents wanting to make the season magical).
If you’ve reheated your coffee already 5 times today, if you find yourself overwhelmed with all the special things to do in Advent and Christmas, if you find yourself wanting the season to be meaningful, but you’re tending to children, I’ve developed A SPACIOUS SEASON for you.
It’s a 6-episode audio devotional for busy moms (and dads) and walks you through the women in Jesus’ genealogy in Matthew. Each episode is just 15 minutes long, so you can fit it in while you’re at the park or folding laundry. It comes with a downloadable workbook to help you think about your desires for the season and what’s actually reasonable. (The workbook is a gorgeous pdf and there’s also a plain text one for easy printing). You’ll also get a Spotify playlist too!
I know what it’s like to feel like you should always be doing more this season. Here is a doable and meaningful way to intentionally engage the season.
You can get it at my shop. It’s $15 and, just through Friday, Finding Holy Podcast listeners get $3 off making it $12, which is cheaper than buying your kids hot cocoa at Starbucks. (Grab that discount code in the show notes for Episode 97). Grab the devotional here!
You can do one each week during Advent and Christmas, or you can do it as a mini-retreat and go through each episode through the course of a week. Grab some friends and discuss your parenting and spiritual journeys together.
Let’s create a more SPACIOUS SEASON!
