Sometimes when we get to days or weeks in the church calendar, they can feel overwhelming. What am I supposed to do? What if I don’t feel the right way?
To take some of the pressure off, I’m here to help in a bite-sized prayer and devotional gift for you.
I’m making a week’s worth of audio devotionals available to subscribers. This first one for Palm Sunday is available to all subscribers — whether you’re a paid or free subscriber!
I’m convinced that prayer and walking go together well, and as we walk at a human pace, we practice an embodied prayer and remind ourselves that we are finite and that this is good news.
What is it like?
This walking meditative journey called “Walking at a Human Pace” is an audio devotional. Each one is just 10-12 minutes long.
Expect thoughtful questions, scripture verses focused on Jesus’ last week of life to be read to you, space to think and reflect, some prayer prompts, and good, meaty questions to help you engage with scripture and God in a manageable bite-sized practice.
Listen to the first one here.
Paid subscribers will get a total of 7 audio devotionals, from Palm Sunday to Holy Saturday.
Listen to the first one and if you’d like access to the rest of the week (Monday through Holy Saturday), please consider becoming a paid subscriber. If that’s not possible for you now, please just let me know.
How does it work?
Sign up to be a paid subscriber. You can cancel anytime.
Paid subscribers will get each audio devotional sent to their inbox from Substack the night before (so you’ll get Monday’s episode on Sunday at 6pm PDT, and so on). If you need help at all, please let me know.
Thank you for reading, listening, and being here. I’m so grateful.
Have a blessed Holy Week! Don’t forget to listen to the first, Palm Sunday meditation, here.
